Dock Construction & Repair

New docks, dock rebuilds, and structural repairs.

We build new residential docks and repair aging or damaged docks across Tampa Bay. We account for the shoreline, boat, lift location, water depth, site access, and how you plan to use the dock.

Available Work

What we can build, replace, or repair.

We inspect the existing structure, water exposure, site access, measurements, materials, and how you plan to use the property.

01

New dock construction

Build the dock around the available shoreline, water depth, vessel, lift location, access, desired layout, and required supports.

02

Structural dock repair

Repair or replace deteriorated framing, connections, decking, bracing, and supports after inspecting the structure below the walking surface.

03

Dock replacement

Remove and replace an aging dock when deterioration is too widespread for isolated repairs to solve the problem.

04

Dock upgrades & lift planning

Plan decking, access, pilings, lighting preparation, and boat or PWC lift placement as part of the dock layout.

Problems to Address

Movement, soft boards, and sagging can indicate structural damage.

The deck boards are only the walking surface. Framing, fasteners, connections, bracing, and pilings carry the people, equipment, and loads placed on the dock.

Soft, rotten, or broken deck boards
Excessive movement under normal use
Sagging or uneven dock sections
Corroded or loose structural connections
Visible framing deterioration
Damage after a storm, vessel impact, or high water

Inspection Details

A dock inspection should include the structure below the boards.

We look at framing, hardware, attachment points, pilings, bracing, and the connection to shore. Those components determine whether the project needs a limited repair, replacement of several sections, or a complete rebuild.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers before you request an estimate.

Can I replace only the dock boards?+

Sometimes, but only when the framing, fasteners, and support system are still suitable. New decking should not hide deterioration underneath.

How do I know whether to repair or replace the dock?+

The decision depends on how much framing and support material is damaged, whether the dock is moving, and whether the remaining structure can safely support the repaired sections.

Can you evaluate storm damage?+

A site review can document visible damage and help define a repair or replacement scope. Avoid using a dock that feels unstable or has obvious structural damage.

Can a boat or jet-ski lift be included with a new dock?+

Yes. Planning the dock, lift location, vessel access, pilings, and electrical service together helps avoid clearance problems and later changes to the dock.

What should I include in my request?+

Send the property address, photos from shore and along the dock, close-ups of problem areas, the dock's approximate size, and how you use it.
